A beautifully worn antique cupboard crafted from solid fir, featuring its original chippy painted surface in soft, muted tones. Circa 1880–1900. The patina throughout reflects decades of use, with layers of paint naturally worn back to reveal the warmth and grain of the wood beneath—an authenticity that cannot be replicated.
The upper section offers open shelving, ideal for displaying ironstone, linens, or collected pieces, while the lower cabinet provides enclosed storage behind two paneled doors.
A versatile piece that works effortlessly in a kitchen, dining space, or living area—bringing in that quiet, lived-in feel that defines timeless interiors.
The wear throughout is consistent with age and use, showcasing heavy patina, chipping paint, surface wear, and areas of exposed wood that contribute to its timeworn appeal.
