A truly grand antique pine cupboard, offering an impressive scale rarely found today. This grand two-piece hutch brings all the warmth, presence, and quiet elegance of old-world pine, making it a striking anchor for kitchens, dining rooms, great rooms, or large open living spaces.
The upper cabinet features tall glass doors with the original working lock and key, opening to multiple removable shelves—perfect for displaying pottery, ironstone, books, and collected pieces. The interior retains its rich, darkened patina, creating a beautiful contrast against the lighter exterior pine. The upper hutch’s interior left latch secures properly, while the lower latch on the upper section no longer catches. The top doors stay securely closed with the working lock and key. Please note, the upper doors must be removed from their hinges in order to remove the interior shelves.
Below, the lower cupboard offers deep enclosed storage with an additional shelf, ideal for larger items. The base cabinet’s interior left latch secures the upper portion of the doors, though the lower latch does not catch. The lower cabinet doors stay securely shut with their original interior catch hardware. The two-piece construction makes this substantial hutch easier to move and install while still reading as one seamless, elegant form.
