The cabinet has two large paneled doors that open to reveal generous interior shelving with a charming beadboard back painted in a green tone. The left door is secured with an interior latch, while the right door features a small brass knob and a discreet nail at the top to keep it closed. For those wanting a more traditional closure, we recommend adding a small latch or catch. There is no lock or key present.
This cabinet is substantial and very heavy, with equally heavy solid wood doors. Because of this, it must be properly secured to a wall for safety, as the cabinet will tip forward when the doors are opened if not anchored.
